Dinah Absi
I grew up in Lebanon during the war, then immigrated to Canada with my family where I studied and got my dental degree.
I spent a few years in Montreal. After my graduation, I did my residency at St. Mary's hospital for one year and then
stayed on as a staff member and coordinated the residency program during the following four years. I worked closely with
the oral surgeon and developed many professional contacts with the different specialists. By 1994, I was established in my
private practice and continued to work in another group practice for a few more years. The cold weather and the language
war that was taking place in Montreal motivated me to move to the United States. I took my American Boards in 1996 followed
by my Southern Regional Boards in 1998 and the Georgia Board in the year 1999. Today, I am very proud to have reached my
ultimate goal to be practicing in Georgia where it is both friendly and warm!
